December 2021: The Kinsale 7’s Committee and Kinsale Rugby Club have been monitoring developments with regards to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Taking into consideration the safety of our town, our players, our staff, and our supporters, we have unfortunately had to make the really difficult decision not to proceed with the rugby 7’s event on the May Bank holiday weekend in 2022. 

This was a difficult decision for all involved as we had hoped to bring back one of the flagship events on the rugby calendar. We would like to thank our sponsors, Heineken, and all our supporters for their understanding.  The Kinsale 7’s Committee will now turn our attention to making plans for the following year, 2023, and we very much look forward to welcoming everyone to a safe and sociable sporting event over the May Bank Holiday weekend in 2023.
