Presidents Message

On behalf of myself and the committee, I would like to welcome you to Kinsale Rugby Club. This season 2007- 2008, sees the 1st XV strive for promotion to the Junior Division 2 League, with our 2nd XV aiming for cup success after a fine league campaign. Our Vets team is also well and truly up and running with the under-16 and under-18 teams performing extremely well in their respective competitions.

This year also saw a new addition to the training schedule on Monday nights, as Kinsale RFC launched a Ladies team, initially to compete in this years sevens event, but ultimately to compete in the Munster Ladies League. We would like to wish them every success.

The underage section of our club sees the busiest training days and nights with hundreds of players donning the Kinsale jersey every week. The commitment shown by the coaches at all levels, most of all the underage coaches, and the help from members and friends alike makes this club very special.

The month of May sees us in `Sevens mode`, when over a hundred teams from all over the world descend on Kinsale.
